Post Memorial Day...

Today was very long and eventful. It was odd waking up in my own bed this morning, but it was a nice feeling to have woken up to my babes face. We headed out to visit my dad in Yucca Valley. It was nice to visit him and my step mom. My dad made some really good spaghetti, home made sauce, and home made garlic cheese bread. After we ate, we all winded down and put on the movie Crazy Heart. It was a pretty damn good movie. I fell asleep for about 20 minutes during the movie, but didn't miss much of it. After the movie, my dad, step mom, Sarah and I sat down to play a game of Parcheesi. Babe and I were in WalMart about a week ago and came across this amazing board came called Parcheesi. The objective is just about the same as sorry. Get from your home base to the finish point, which is an Indian Temple. We have definitely become believers in this new board game, and are already looking for legit game boards made of either wood or glass. We've come across a few boards, but the ones that we did find ranged from about 300 dollars to 800 dollars. It would be a very cool and amazing investment, but maybe we'll save it for later on down the road. The job hunt continues for me. Babe is so lucky and blessed to have found a new job in just a couple of days. Her nanny gig that she's doing right now ends a couple of weeks and her new job starts in the beginning of July. I am hoping and praying that I will be able to find a good paying security job in the near future! Tomorrow should be grand! Unfortunately I have to go to work at 11 in the morning for a brief meeting and review of my working ethics, which will hopefully be a breeze. Soon after that, my fiancee's dad is having a Memorial Day barbeque, which I am looking forward to very much!

Honey, I'm home!

So, it's been a while since I last blogged. I've gotten so side tracked that I haven't had enough time to be on this thing. My fiancee' hasn't had the time to get on hers, but finally made it known to me that she is going to take time out of every day to get on here and at least write something! SO, here I am :] This past week has been so great. My fiancee's boss went on vacation, so her and I were left to house sit the boss' house. It has been nice to be living with my fiancee' in a sense for the past week. Well, low and behold, my parents left this morning to go to Colorado to visit my step dad's children, so I'm back at my own house. Spending this past week with my babe has been so amazing. Yes, there were occasional arguments, but for the most part, it was where I belonged. I'll admit, I missed my cat and my own bed, but nothing is more precious than being able to cuddle up to my love every night :] Now back at home, it's a bit weird. I'm so used to falling asleep with her in my arms and waking up to her smile. But, I have to realize that I only have to wait a few more months until I get to spend as much time with her as I want to! On to other things...job hunting is quite the fun thing to do. NOT. Granted, its a pain in the ass, but I need to find a new job. About a month ago, babe helped me pay for a guard card class in Palm Desert, so that I could become a certified security guard. I am now on the hunt for a good paying security job. All I can do is pray, and I definitely know God will pull through.
