Post Memorial Day...

Today was very long and eventful. It was odd waking up in my own bed this morning, but it was a nice feeling to have woken up to my babes face. We headed out to visit my dad in Yucca Valley. It was nice to visit him and my step mom. My dad made some really good spaghetti, home made sauce, and home made garlic cheese bread. After we ate, we all winded down and put on the movie Crazy Heart. It was a pretty damn good movie. I fell asleep for about 20 minutes during the movie, but didn't miss much of it. After the movie, my dad, step mom, Sarah and I sat down to play a game of Parcheesi. Babe and I were in WalMart about a week ago and came across this amazing board came called Parcheesi. The objective is just about the same as sorry. Get from your home base to the finish point, which is an Indian Temple. We have definitely become believers in this new board game, and are already looking for legit game boards made of either wood or glass. We've come across a few boards, but the ones that we did find ranged from about 300 dollars to 800 dollars. It would be a very cool and amazing investment, but maybe we'll save it for later on down the road. The job hunt continues for me. Babe is so lucky and blessed to have found a new job in just a couple of days. Her nanny gig that she's doing right now ends a couple of weeks and her new job starts in the beginning of July. I am hoping and praying that I will be able to find a good paying security job in the near future! Tomorrow should be grand! Unfortunately I have to go to work at 11 in the morning for a brief meeting and review of my working ethics, which will hopefully be a breeze. Soon after that, my fiancee's dad is having a Memorial Day barbeque, which I am looking forward to very much!
