Weaving the values that sustain us.

Today was such an awesome day! Babe woke me up at 8:30 to come and pick me up to get her dad's birthday present. I stayed up until 4:30 playing Red Dead Redemption and Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. I couldn't sleep for crap! Thankfully enough I wasn't too tired when she picked me up, but I was a bit of a crank butt. As soon as she picked me up, we hopped on the freeway and headed towards good old Loma Linda to the Harley Davidson shop where we picked up her dad a brand new motorcycle helmet. After we did that, we went to AMPM and got some funions and some Arizona sweet tea. The ride back to Beaumont was quite peaceful, we took San Timoteo, which is always one of my favorite drives. Once in town, we went to the Dollar Tree to pick up a gift bag for her dad's helmet, a birthday card, and some balloons. After finally making it to her house to pick her dad up, we went to one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. After we were seated, we ordered our drinks and shortly after getting them I managed to spill my diet pepsi all over my shorts and the table, it was quite hysterical! The lunch was so enjoyable, as was the time I got to spend with my fiancee', her dad, and Aiden. I took a few pictures while we were at the restaurant. After eating our delicious lunch, we dropped Sarah's dad off at home, and I returned to my house as well. Her dad's big birthday party is tomorrow, and a lot of family is coming over. I'm pretty excited for tomorrow! I'm not quite sure what the rest of the evening has in store for me. Sarah gets off of work here pretty soon, and I'm guessing we're going to shoot over to her house and hang out with her dad. I hope I will remember to take a lot of pictures tomorrow, that way I can post a few on here. My brother comes home this weekend! Well, he's supposed to. The only tickets he's finding to fly home right now are extremely expensive, so he may or may not be coming back home. I'm praying for his safe arrival though when he does finally decide to get his ass home. Well, time to play some Modern Warfare 2 while I wait for babe to get off of work!

This time it's real.

Well, finally after changing the wedding plans so many times, Sarah and I have finally made up our minds on where, when, and what we are doing for the wedding. Location, location, location. We're having the wedding & the reception at the Sylvan Park in our very loved city, Redlands. Earlier today Sarah and her dad went down to Redlands, like they normally do every Thursday to get lunch, and checked out the park itself. While I was at work, Sarah texted me telling me that she was in love with the place in an instant. I trusted her word, but was still a little iffy about changing our reception location since we had already put 800 dollars towards our other reception location. The park is a great choice. Sarah and I checked it out after I got off of work, and I was quite surprised and excited about the ideas that she gave me. After checking out our new reception location, we went to Pepito's in Highland to get our favorite delicious pork burritos! After we ate, we headed to one of Highland's shopping centers and met up with my friend Kevin and talked for a few minutes then jet over to my house to finish the movie "Brothers", which was extremely shocking and amazing! Today was so perfect, minus the fact that I had work, but thank God I don't have work tomorrow! After day 5 of having my bacterial skin infection, it's finally gone! I am so happy that it's migrated elsewhere, hopefully not onto someone else! I will definitely be more cautious and careful the next time I decide to get into another hot tub. I sure as hell learned my lesson, and unfortunately it was the hard way. Oh well, that's life. Right?

They say that love is forever,

your forever is all that I need. Those would be lyrics from one of my favorite bands that was playing at Best Buy today, Sleeping With Sirens. Today, Sarah, her brother, her dad and I went out to Redlands after eating delicious pizza for dinner at New York pizza. It was quite an eventful evening might I just say. Right after dinner we went to Guitar Center, where I was reunited with my love for the bass guitar. I was able to play for a good half hour probably, and surprisingly enough Sarah's dad was impressed enough with my playing that he wants me to play with him at his birthday party this weekend. I 'm still iffy on the idea. It would be a great experience to jam with my father-in-law, but I'm not too sure about the idea of playing in front of Sarah's family. Once again, me saying something that would be completely out of context because I used to play bass for a Christian hard-core band for a couple of years and enjoyed every second of it. I don't know, the thought of playing on Saturday is still up in the air. Anyways, after spending some time jamming at Guitar Center and running into an old friend we shot over to Best Buy. We all were messing around on the iPad's for a few good minutes, which was very enjoyable. After my fair share with the iPad, I hopped on the huge mac, and messed around on some games and took a couple of pictures. After leaving Best Buy, we went to AMPM and babe and I got a sweet tea to share...thank God because I was SO thirsty, along with the rest of the family. We then shot over to Barnes and Noble to look at a few books on French Bulldogs. I must say, tonight was a great night. I love spending time with my fiancee' and her family. Speaking of family, I sure do miss my brother. He comes home from Michigan this weekend. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing him in the near future.

Desperate Times Call For Desperate Measures.

I'm finding myself in a whirlpool right now. It's my first night alone without my babe. Her boss finally returned from vacation yesterday, which means we don't get to sleep over with each other until another occurrence allowing us to do so. This isn't fair. Well, then again, life isn't fair, but why can't we sleep over with each other when ever we want? Our friends Fletch and Brandon are engaged as well, and are pretty much the same ages as Sarah and I, and they get to sleep over with each other every night. Granted, their parents are obviously more lenient than my parents and Sarah's dad. The situation is extremely twisted, because her dad and my parents know that we house sit and sleep in the same bed with each other. If trust isn't the issue, what is it? I've been able to sleep over at Sarah's house once, and that was only because she was too tired to take me home, and we were leaving earlier the next morning to go up to her grand parents so her dad let me stay the night, but that was the only time. I don't know what it is, but I'm thankful to the fact that we at least get to spend every day with each other.

It was so hard letting Sarah leave for work this morning, knowing that it would be the last morning for a while that I would wake up to her face. Only a few more months until we're married and I get to slap time in the face! My bacterial skin infection is going away gradually. I picked it up by spending too much time in the hot tub, every day for the last week and a half, and I developed it. I've been putting apple cider vinegar on it for the past couple of days and it's clearing right up, thank God!

Summer! Ugh, you're finally here. I hate hate hate the sun, but I've been opening myself up to it surely but slowly. And to hear this coming from a Cali boy that's lived in this beautiful state for 10 years! I love the sun, but it just drains my energy and turns me into a righteous asshole sometimes! I've been lathering myself up with sun block every day, hoping and praying I don't get a sun burn! I am definitely looking forward to going to the beach as often as possible though :] Sarah loses her job, unfortunately in a couple of weeks but God has already blessed her with a new one, Praise him! I am definitely looking forward to spending long, hourly, beachy, fun filled, love filled days with her.
